Loraine Hayes is a solicitor and consultant in the property and probate department.
She joined the firm in the autumn of 2019, bringing 30+ years’ experience in the area of commercial property and conveyancing. She was a partner in a big-five firm before moving to the banking sector in 2000.
She led the legal unit in a pillar bank that transferred €10bn worth of property-backed assets to NAMA. She then spent four years in NAMA leading a team who oversaw the sale of €3bn worth of portfolios of offices, shopping centres, retail parks, hotels and apartment blocks.
Loraine also set up the legal structure for NAMA’s participation in the social housing market as well as innovative participation in joint venture developments. After a spell out of the workplace for family reasons Loraine joined McKeever Rowan where she practices in all aspects of conveyancing, landlord and tenant matters, probate and wills.
