Recently, the Commercial Litigation Unit has been involved in a successful action against a Member State before the European Court of Human Rights. We have advised in relation to a large number of cases which crystallised legislative jurisprudence, with the most recent being on the Irish Court’s determination of relevant sections of the Commercial Agency Directive.
We represent clients in a multi-million dollar litigation currently before the Commercial Court and involving large-scale eDiscovery. We represent financial institutions in disputes referred to the Financial Services Ombudsman. We act for both plaintiff and defendants in defamation claims, with a particular emphasis on social media.
